Yarn has been woven through my life since I was a little girl. My maternal grandmother, Norma, knit or crocheted every day, turning out hats, mittens, afghans and sweaters in production mode. She taught me these skills when I was 8 – that yarn could be transformed into items that expressed both art and love.
When a color catches my eye and pulls me in, I want to hang on to that memory. Since 2002, I’ve been hand-dyeing those colors on the fibers I love. My colors are a unique expression of the world around me. The yarns are sourced through domestic mills and/or growers whenever possible, and the highest quality professional dyes are used for their colorfastness.
I hope these colors speak to your heart and bring you happiness.
